Email Cleaner

Unsubscribe from Gmail newsletters in one click.

Email Cleaner is a Chrome extension that scans an open Gmail tab, groups mail by sender, and lets you unsubscribe — or bulk-clean old mail — in one click. It runs entirely inside your browser: nothing about your inbox is ever sent to a server we operate.

Open Gmail Privacy Policy
  1. 1

    Sign in with Google

A one-time sign-in unlocks the extension. It requests exactly one narrow permission — see the Privacy Policy for what that does and doesn't allow.

  2. 2

    Scan your inbox

Email Cleaner reads the Gmail tab you already have open and groups every sender by how much mail they've sent you.

  3. 3

    Unsubscribe or clean up

Select senders and click Unsubscribe, or bulk-delete their old mail — both by clicking Gmail's own controls on your behalf, so deleted mail lands in your normal Trash.

Where your data goes

Scanning, unsubscribing, and deleting all happen locally by automating the Gmail page already open in your browser — there is no Email Cleaner server that receives your inbox.

Signing in with Google only ever grants one scope, gmail.labels, which reads label message counts (Inbox, Promotions, Social, Updates) — never a subject line, sender, or message body. Full detail in the Privacy Policy.
